- Te Anau Harness Street Race (In recess)
A committee representative from each of the above events is a trustee on the Te Anau Community Events Charitable Trust.
Te Anau Events promotes events and community projects in the Fiordland region. There are 2 part time event co-ordinators (20 hours per week) part funded by the Te Anau Community Board and the rest from event contributions. These co-ordinators are based at the Destination Fiordland Office in Te Anau with support from Venture Southland. They assist event committees with the organisation of their event through administration and financial services, equipment and on the day support. The Te Anau Events co-ordinators are available to all members of the community and will assist with any event big or small from set up to execution.
