The Te Anau Community Events Charitable Trust (TACECT), trading as Te Anau Events is the body set up to provide secretarial and financial services, event insurance, and apply for funding and to Internal Affairs for the Te Anau Harness Street Race Class 3 Gambling Licence.

TACECT was set up in 2011 and currently coordinates the following:

• Te Anau Manapouri Fishing Classic
• Te Anau Tartan Festival
• Te Anau Enduro
• Te Anau Harness Street Race (In recess)

A committee representative from each of the above events is a trustee on the Te Anau Community Events Charitable Trust.

Promotion

Te Anau Events promotes events and community projects in the Fiordland region. The co-ordinator is part funded by contributions from the events Te Anau Events organise, as well as generous donations from Community Trust South, Lotteries Grants and COGS.  Te Anau Events office is located at Fiordland Community House, 21 Luxmore Drive.
They assist event committees with the organisation of their event through administration and financial services, equipment and on the day support. The Te Anau Events co-ordinators are available to all members of the community and will assist with any event big or small from set up to execution.
