Finish Line

Motivation

We encourage you to cheer the athletes as they run along the lakefront and at the finish line at Lions Park.  While prams are not allowed on the trails for competitors, please feel free to cross the finish line with whom you wish.

Radio

More FM will be at the finish line to bring you across strong.

Coffee/Food

Competitors  will have a choice of recovery foods to choose from.

Spectators & competitors will also have the chance to buy coffee, baking and bbq food at the finish line.

Prize Giving

Early prize giving for place getters

We plan to do the business end (photos, cheque) with our place getters earlier than previous years to ensure a fast prize giving at 2.30pmPlease note the change in prize giving time - this is due to the Rugby (NZ vs Australia) being on in Dunedin and we are aware that many are wanting to head away to watch the end of that.

Spectator Info

Race Viewing

You will see the top spots marked with "V" on the course map.

Although you can watch the athletes at the start at Kepler Farm, there will be a short delay exiting the car park as the athletes need to leave the area before the cars are allowed to depart along the road.

While there is some parking at Queens Reach, there is likely to be a wait to exit this area so it is not advised to view here by car.
